Fitting easily through framed doors, between desks or working areas and around corners, the Workman Mini-Scaffold is very useful for inside construction, repair and maintenance work. The heavy duty platforms may be set in the configuration illustrated or side by side, providing a working platform 20" wide and 48" long.
There are several unique characteristics setting the unit apart from others of the same format.
The working area of the platforms is 36% larger.
The platforms themselves are mounted on the frame using angle iron flanges wrapped in high compression rubber sleeves.
The unit may be accessorized with unique extension outriggers, turning it into a stable 6' tall mini-scaffold.

24" Extension Outriggers for 4' Workman Mini-Scaffold |
Turns a 4' Workman Mini-Scaffold into a 6' Workman in an instant! |
Meets or exceeds OSHA and ANSI standards |
Shown here, installed on a Workman with a second kit in the foreground for illustration, the extension - outriggers give the traditional fold-up scaffold an untraditionally stable, solid foundation. This stable foundation is achieved by increasing the base to 58" x 26.75". Exercising appropriate care, work up to the second highest rung on this unit may be conducted safely. And with the extra 5" wide step included in the kit, accessing the working platforms is made much easier and safer.
It isn't even necessary to remove the extensions to store or transport the unit. Simply remove the platforms, fold the unit and away it goes!

Maintenance: Clean the caster wheel and rig of debris from time to time. Remove caster from scaffold frame and grease stem from time to time. Note: when transporting scaffolds, do not rifle the frame with casters installed, into the back of the truck. You run a good chance of banging the caster into something and damaging your equipment. Placing too great a load on the scaffold will also damage the caster. While each caster has a 309 lb. load capacity xceeding the 600 lb. load capacity of the unit is not recommended. As with all quality tools, proper maintenance and care will greatly prolong the longevity of your casters.
